Custom deck and porch builds
Out of all the renovations you can do on your home, adding a deck has one of the highest return on value when you sale your home according to the 2013 Cost vs Value Remodeling report.
Because of its affordability and ease of use, treated lumber remains the bestselling material for deck construction. The downsides to pressure treated lumber are that it ages rapidly and requires higher maintenance.
Other wood choices include the harder woods such as redwood and cedar, or exotic imported woods. While these deck options look great, they can be very expensive and still require yearly maintenance to make it last as long as possible.
A newer alternative is composite decking. These products are typically made out of recycled materials and are very weather-proof and virtually maintenance free. Although, we're willing to work with you whether you choose wood or composite, we really recommend that you take a look at AZEK decking if you’re thinking about a deck.
